For work in geometric analysis and Riemannian geometry, introducing powerful new techniques to solve outstanding problems, particularly for manifolds with Ricci curvature bounds.

The continuous support of collaborators, teachers, and family have given me more opportunities than most, a point for which I am extremely grateful. It is a rare gift in life to be able to spend your time opening the doors of your own choosing. My career influences are too many to list, but I would particularly like to thank my PhD adviser Gang Tian for pushing and guiding me in those early years. My career would have little value without the support of my family, including my parents, my wife, Kristy, and our three daughters, Emily, Lacey, and Maya.
