I have been so fortunate to have had so many great teachers over time. All of them have showed me their own way of doing science, the immense pleasure experienced when you have the ability to distinguish, in everyday life, extraordinary things surrounding you: simple or complex, full of beauty, calling for attention and understanding. With time, I understood that this is mainly all about curiosity, permanent astonishment and finding new questions. Answers come naturally after questions mature and take the right form. My teachers showed me that this is a way of living and doing physics, probably the only one. I understand the great honor of receiving the New Horizons Prize as a recognition to all of them: my teachers at the University of Buenos Aires and the Instituto Balseiro in Bariloche; my colleagues and friends in Argentina and elsewhere; my father Ernesto; my children Santiago and Guido...all tireless treasure seekers.
