2020 New Horizons in Physics Prize

For the development of novel techniques to extract fundamental physics from astronomical data.

It is a tremendous honor to be selected for the New Horizons Prize! I feel truly privileged to have a career based on following my own curiosity and unraveling fundamental secrets of nature. It has also been a privilege to be part of a community which includes so many inspiring people, who have taught me so much. I've learned something unique from all of my collaborators, especially my mentors Wayne Hu, Bruce Winstein, Matias Zaldarriaga and David Spergel. I'd like to thank the general public for their curiosity and interest in basic research, in particular the Daniel family who support cosmology research at Perimeter. Finally and most importantly, I'd like to thank my friends and family, especially my mother Louise, for their love and support.
