I am extremely grateful for the chance to spend my days studying the fundamental laws of nature. It is a privilege to be part of the entire community of physicists who together have achieved an understanding of our universe that is nothing short of amazing. Personally, I have benefited tremendously from the support and collaboration of many people. I owe a great deal to my advisor, Savas Dimopoulos, who is a constant inspiration to me. I must thank Surjeet Rajendran for many fantastic, productive, and fun collaborations over the years. Indeed, I have had many remarkable collaborators and mentors whose contributions have been invaluable to me, and I owe them all a great debt. I am forever indebted to my parents and my family whose love and support has meant the world to me. It is impossible to even imagine a greater gift than my amazing wife Lauren and our two wonderful daughters, Keira and Ashley, who bring me so much joy and love every day of my life.
