I would like to thank my family, friends, teachers, colleagues and collaborators for the love, support, education and intellectual companionship they provided throughout my life and career. I also would like to thank and acknowledge my students for the love and dedication they show to physics — their arduous and original work gives me great optimism for the future of our field. Last but not least, I want to thank my experimental colleagues and collaborators — without them, theoretical concepts would remain pies in the sky. Beautiful things happen when experimentalists and theorists come together to hack mother nature.
