2015 Breakthrough Prize Ceremony Premiers in USA on Discovery November 15 at 6:00 pm EST/PST
The Breakthrough Prize Foundation invites American audiences to help celebrate our greatest scientists by taking part in an exceptional hour of television Saturday, November 15, on the Discovery and Science channels at 6:00 p.m. EST/PST.
Host Seth MacFarlane and award presenters Kate Beckinsale, Benedict Cumberbatch, Cameron Diaz, Jon Hamm and Eddie Redmayne, pay tribute to the world's most brilliant minds - those taking the biggest leaps toward curing diseases, building new technologies, and bringing us closer to understanding the nature of the Cosmos.
During the show, Christina Aguilera performs a remarkable rendition of her hit "Beautiful," before an audience of leading figures from the worlds of technology, business, entertainment and academia at Hangar 1 at NASA's Ames Research Center in Silicon Valley.
The event was produced by Vanity Fair and Don Mischer Productions. As well as being shown on Discovery November 15, the ceremony will be broadcast globally November 22 on BBC World News.
Please join us in honoring these exceptional minds Saturday night.
